The boys wanted to send a great, big, wet thank you for all of the wonderful gifts and wishes they received for their 4th birthday! Huge thanks go out to Grandma and Opa, Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop, Aunt Yasmin and Uncle Mark, Uncle Darin, Uncle James, Aunt Lise and Uncle Kevin, Uncle Rich and Aunt Kristine, Aunt Karen and Uncle Shawn, and Aunt Lori. Thanks again! Here are some pictures from their special day.
Here is our annual trip to the Brisbane Fire Department open house:
They let us spray the fire hose!
Till & Zuzu driving the rig:
October would not be complete without a trip down to Half Moon Bay to pick the perfect pumpkin
Dad took Zuzu to Disney's "Princesses on Ice". So she dressed the part.
Here is Zuzu completing her very first homework assignment
These are just creepy. Peer sleeping...
So the other morning, I was lying in bed cuddling with Till when I heard Peer get up and go to the bathroom. A few minutes later I heard him struggling and asking for help. I walked into the bathroom to find Peer sitting on the floor with our "Dora the Explora" potty seat stuck, and I mean quite stuck, around his head. A few vicious tugs later, I got the thing off.
And then I disinfected his face...
So this morning, I walk into the living room to find Till crying and standing in the middle of the room with the Lincoln Logs can stuck, and I do mean quite stuck, on his head. This time I was smart enough to find the camera and record the moment for posterity (and blog). The photography was followed by some pretty lengthy and vicious pulling of the can, his neck, his ears and forehead.
Have I mentioned that one of Till's first words was "STUCK!"
Here are some pics of our fine Halloween celebration. We began the weekend before Halloween, at Boo at the Zoo at the San Francisco Zoo. Lots of spooky displays and crafts - kids go in costume. Lots of fun!
The day before Halloween we all went to a parade and party at Z's elementary school.
Till got a bit tired towards the end and finally collapsed in a bat heap.
On Halloween night, we tricked and treated for a little while and then had fun at the Halloween Carnival in town.
